Certainly is an advancement if Revell really is supplying this much for underhood and interior decals on this kit. Things like the V-Belt part number or the Caution sticker on the fan shroud really bring these areas to life.

The detail decals, especially the ones on the interior look photoshopped but definitely one of the better box art builds I've seen.

Revell absolutely destroys it in their decal sheets.  I'd bet that copper ring around the alternator is on the sheet too.

A straight reissue of the 1/8 '79 T/A would have been killer enough, but I'm really looking forward to the new decals coming in that thing.

On another note, Mecum is going to auction off an original (?) all black '69 Camaro L-78 396 SS today.... I'd love to see how well it does... The car looks great with the redline Firestones and poverty caps.. ?

So they took the ZL-1 kit and added a new hood and possibly some decals? I have a couple of hoods from Norm and can build that version from my stash.

The decal sheet from the SS/RS convertible kit is a nice one... It has decals for the houndstooth seat covers...

Yes it is...this kit and the SS/RS convertible would be good to mix and match parts with to do an SS convertible w/ steelies/dds and the plain grille and louvered hood.
