If you have a bunch of wheels to paint

I like to get an old cereal box or something, spray it with some adhesive spray (I use 3m) put wide masking tape(4in.) Sticky side up, stick the wheels on and now you can shoot it with your favorite paint.

Rustoleum chrome finish (it ends up looking like polished aluminum) and it has the good nozzle. This can has lasted pretty long now and it still has some miles left in it.

I have a can of that.. Have you tried using a gloss black basecoat and then spray the chrome over that????... I should give that a try tomorrow and see how it works....?

Thats a good tip for the chrome. I kind of like how it looks like polished aluminum.

Ditto. Nice aluminum look. Much nicer than I thought. I'm going to look for some of this stuff and try decanting it for an airbrush.

It you get a good finish direct from the aerosol, why would anyone want to decant it for an airbrush? Rather than go to all that bother why not just buy a Molotow  chrome refill?

You can use the same technique for driving lights. These are the KC lights from Fireball.  They will get the yellow covers. Afterwards,  I'll hit the backs with the Molotov chrome. Or black.

These will get the black KC decals. I have a few more that will get black covers and the white KC decals.
