Has anybody built this kit?

I'm sure it's expensive, but I'm only seeing it on German forums. I doubt it will ever be available on these shores.

I can see a musicians tour bus with it, or a fully lit with LEDs.

They were available in the US - I've seen them in several hobby shops. There is a hobby shop near me that had one for a year or two until a couple of months ago. They ran in price about $100-125. I'm not sure if they're still being produced.

If you search this board for cityliner, you will find many threads on them. Many are started, few are finished.

I have one in the stash. I keep thinking about what direction I want to go for paint and graphics. It's a big kit, lots of space to be creative.

Yes, when these first came out, they were distributed in US. I bought one and have it in my stash.

How long ago was it out?

I have one not yet built in the stash.  They were over $120 at the time of release (circa 2006-2008) and were only out about a year or so.  Not yet reissued.  The kit represents a European Tour Bus, but one was modified by a modeler into a RV (there actually is a 1:1 conversion).  Every once in a while, one pops up for sale but at $200 or more.

The U.S.S. Constitution is a well detailed kit.... It'll take forever to build that one.....
