Here is my first model after a short break from the hobby.
Hands are shakier and eyesight is poorer, but really enjoyed building this Honda Fit/Jazz from Tamiya.

There is more orange peel than I’d like and the glass is a major train wreck, but overall I am happy with the results. Still a long, long long way to go to get near the rest of you, I know, but it will be a fun journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Stay safe and enjoy!

P.S. Diorama was made by the wife.

Neat little car, and a good build considering a 45 year pause! Very nice display, too. Welcome back to the hobby!

Thank you. The display was the wife’s build, so I can’t take any credit for that. Forgot a lot of things and am trying to learn the latest tricks but it wi will be fun.

Cute little bugger and welcome back to building.  Very nice dio too.

Thank you very much.
It is nice to be back.
Glad you like the dio. I’ll pass the sentiments along to the wife.

Nice nerd car! I built one a few years back and all the black trim on the “glass” is a job in itself.

Thanks!
Yes, the "glass" was the most difficult part of the build other than my inexperienced paint job.

Nice job on the honda. I build that kit some years ago when I got my Honda fit 2007 from my dad when he passed away. I still have the car. The kit is nicely detailed but I agree, the glass requires some work. You build looks pretty nice in that setting. The most important part is that you have fun building it. ??

Thanks! Setting was the wife’s build. ;)
I enjoyed building this quite a bit, so am content.

Nice work, Conrad. It's a great start. Jumping back in after all that time, the learning curve will be steep. Each build is just practice for the next one. Well done.

Thanks. The learning curve is like climbing Everest with a blindfold on. But I will keep at as it is a very enjoyable hobby. and I need the practice.
Thanks again!
