mademan Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 I had started a replica of this car shortly after the Revell kit was issued around 2014ish, but was never happy with the paint or the "flared" rear wheel wells. So I dug out another one and started again. Tires are Fireball modelworks 295-50-15s with resin deep steel wheels and Machined caps. I need to finish up the engine, interior and add the stripes before final clear.... paint still needs allot of work, I am never happy with black paint jobs. It will need another wet sand and another clear. 3
250 Testa Rossa Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Those pictures look like they are from the Donut Derelicts Car Show held every Saturday morning in Huntington Beach. I live down the street from where that show is! I think I have seen that Cuda there before.
rightrudder Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 Nice! Cop car wheels play well with the Cuda, for sure. Maxx, Donut Derelicts is certainly a great show. I need to get down there again; it's such a cool and diverse mix of cars.
Tuffy's Garage Posted March 4, 2022 Posted March 4, 2022 I have those pics saved as well to do that car someday. Yours is looking amazing can't wait to see it finished
