Marc1969
Here is my take on a 72 Pontiac GTO. The kit is by MPC and will say,it’s a pretty crappy kit. Tons of flash and moldings are really inconsistent. Although, I enjoyed building the kit. My girls favorite muscle car, so went with scalefinishes pink panther and raven black theme, As they are her favorite colors. Aftermarket wheels &tires, model car garage photo etch details, embossing powder for carpet, air cleaner by iceman collectibles. I scratch built the headers, collector and exhaust. Made custom exhaust tips from k&s aluminum stock. Scratch built rear cowl for exhaust tips to extend out off and added a front spoiler. Happy with the final product, even though the modeling gods reared their head with some glue that got away from me. This was the first time, only been a year of modeling, but actually felt like a modeler, adding some custom scratch items. Anyway hope you like it, and any comments /criticism is welcome, as I’m just trying to learn from each one. On to the next build, early bronco or mustang ……
espo
The color is exceptionally bold on this GM model. The paint is well done, and the black trim goes well with it. I like the FI Small Block Chevy engine.

Snake45
Different and therefore interesting. Well done and model on!

AMT68
Very neat and clean looking build. And definitely not the easiest kit to build from what I've heard. Haven't even attempted mine. Yet.

Dragonhawk1066
Very nice! And yes it certainly is a crappy kit. I won't start mine until I get myself totally psyched up for it, lol.
bisc63
Great idea to paint the hood black; it minimizes the awkward nostrils that can be so distracting on this body. Good move! You made a fine looking street machine out of a so-so design. Well done.

It came with a 350, but had to put something that looked better.
