Anybody know of a kit that would be a good jumping off point for this drag cage and chassis in this 70 Nova? Doesn't have to be exact but a good start would be helpful. Thinking the Matt Hayes T Bird or Glidden Ford. Anybody got something to trade?

The glidden chassis most likelly wont fit, its 1/24 and probably too wide for the nova body. I used one under a bmw e36 and it was a tight fit in it. would the amt pro street nova chassis fit?

Thanks. I'm not sure about the PS Nova chassis. I took some close up photos of the chassis and cage in the article. It is going to be a chore to build something close so looking for something that has a good start for me.

What about these Tom?

.... both are boxed as 1:25th ...& both bodies are seriously undersized compared to their original body designs.

I think any one of those would work as a good starting point. Now to do some looking. Been getting some work done on the hood tonight.

That is very narrow. the rear axle does not even have springs on the real car.  Tom Let me look I may have the 55 Chevy  Kit above. No Decals if I still have it though.

Thanks. I appreciate it. No decals needed.

The closest chassis I know of with the funny car cage around the driver is the one from the Oldsmobile P/S kits. The wheelbase should be fairly close as well as the width.
