I had an experimental urge to build this in yellow, and while the purists may disagree I am happy with the way it turned out. I’m still far from expert at laying decals and this has some imperfections but the learning journey continues. I do have another on order I’ll paint in original white, these Platz/Nunu kits are so good.

I like the yellow. Gives the build a different feel. I see a picture of the R8. Did you enjoy building that one or did you have issues?

Thanks for your comment. Yes really enjoyed the R8 build, although again I was tested with some of the decals. Not my strong point! I have another R8 on order so looking forward to building a different version. Platz/Nunu kits are so good.

It is a great collection of racers, and yes, looks great in yellow. I guess it's supposed to be white?

That is super nice Paul - very unique and colourful and a nice change from white. I picked my one today which I'll do in a modified red version

I want to make the red more Iron Man candy or even Soul Red

Did you have any notable issues with the build? Looks pretty straight forward to me

Great result! Everyone knows yellow is a color which is hard to get right. You DID get it right. I like the overall look of you M8, aswell as the other models!

Superb collection. I was a race marshall in the day of the original BMW M3, so these being the latest in the range of road racers are very interesting. Very impressive work, well done.
