Looking for an MCM issue from 2009

Hello!

   To those of you who has older issues of the magazine:  I'm trying to get all my mags together and in my mess I am missing many issues.  Sometime in 2009 my '33 Chrysler Indy Pace Car was featured in the mag.  For the life of me I can't find what issue it was.  I finished that build in late 2008. In a conversation with the late Harry P. (miss him) in mid 2010 he mentioned my article "from a while ago". So I'm guessing it must have been published in 2009 or maybe early 2010.  Can somebody check which issue has it?

It appears your Chrysler Indy Pace Car was in issue #147 Jan 2010. Hope you can find one to complete your collection.

I can check later today, I have a ton of old issues, might have it.

Have you checked with The Model Empire? They used to have many of the model magazines and back issues.

MCM shows that 147 is available as a back issue.

It's for sure in 147. I know this because oddly enough I was thumbing through that exact issue about a week ago. That Chrysler is lovely.

I have a copy of that issue in my collection, but if you need it, I can COPY it for you.

Any chance you have a copy of Issue 80? That is the last  one I need to complete my Model Cars Magazine collection and I am still trying to buy one.

Yes!  I was able to get it thru Gregg!  Thank you!

I'm out of town but let me dig.  Not sure if I get that far back to #80.  I think all of mine are triple digits.

Maybe MCM might look at a CD Rom of the first 20 years of the magazine like Kalmbach did with Scale Auto. Or maybe an archive on the internet perhaps?

Many of us for not start to take the magazine until it was a number of years in.
