Scale-Master Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I had this Tamiya GT-4 kit that had been cannibalized for another project. Except for those missing parts it is out-of-the-box. The decals are a combination of custom designed and printed, parts-box left overs and some readily available off the shelf Warbird/Scale-Master stock. Mostly Tamiya paints were used, plus some very old original Alclad metal finishes. WIP Thread: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/172142-p-51-mustang-gt-4/ 2
Michael Bentt Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 This is very neat! I like the colours choices. 1
Monty Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Great combination of resourceful and creative. Ya know, if ya stuck a Cleveland in that thing you'd have a 351 in your P-51. ? Good stuff! 2
Monty Posted June 22, 2022 Posted June 22, 2022 Wonder if I'd get in trouble if I said "Props to you for such a unique build"? ? 1
Straightliner59 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 What a great concept! Excellent work, Mark. Looks fantastic!
