Mopar - D Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 This is the Keystone Aluminum (AITM) resin Dodge day cab with a AMT Frightliner donor kit. My Super Bee Trucking bottom dump trailer needed to truck to pull it and I liked the look of the COE day cab pulling it. I started to go with the Cummins engine until Stace recommended a Detroit Diesel that he gave me to use so it has a Detroit Diesel from a GMC Astro. The rear tires are from Scenes Unlimited and paint is from Scale Finish’s. This makes 9 dump trucks in the Super Bee Trucking fleet and I have plans for more lol.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 You know I’m a big cabover fan, especially daycabs! This is a great looking rig!
Jim B Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 Really nice Dodge. Very well done. I followed along on your WIP thread to get some ideas for when I do my own Dodge L000.
Rockford Posted June 24, 2022 Posted June 24, 2022 (edited) Wonderful job, great looking combo. Could I do one in 1/32 I wonder ? Edited June 24, 2022 by Rockford
Plastheniker Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 These extremely cubic Dodges look really odd, I have a sleeper version still in my stash. Such an unusual COE and your unusual dumper go together really well!
Dutzie Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Great build! Job well done. I enjoyed the build process too!
