Terry Jessee
This is the Motor City Resin Casters '73 Chevy El Camino. It's loosely based on a truck from a TV show I've never seen. Found photos of the truck on Barrett-Jackson's website after the truck went up for sale a few years ago. Chassis components are from the AMT '69 Olds 442. The engine is from MPC's '84 Chevy pickup.
Jim B
Nice El Camino. What show is it supposed to be from?
espo
I like the well-used look. Was this the Joe Dirt El Camino that Jim Carry drove?

Mike C.
Nice. Did the sport mirrors come with the kit? If not were, did you source them from? Also, Did the hood fit okay?

Also, Did the hood fit okay? No, they're from a Revell Honda Civic. They looked like the mirrors in the photos of the truck. And the hood seems to fit fine. Smoke Wagon
One of my all time favorite shows. Great job recreating the El Camino. It’s a shame that it was cancelled before Earl could finish his list.
