[ side bar ] You belong to The Blank Generation just like me ! Have you ever watched Slacker ? It's a fine peering into our generation, taking place in Austin, Tx., in 1990. Another fave of mine from "back then" was the - edited entitlement here for ostensible reasons - 'H_tler World Tour' "concert" shirt. There was a Levi's store here called Miller's Outpost, and they sold tons of those shirts (back before the cancel clods and triggered brigade ruined everything slightly humourous).
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Whiskey...now there's a really good idea right about now.
Calb56 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Now I bet it'd be fun to join Bill with a double bourbon but these days I have to stick with black coffee and I don't even get to have a smoke with it.
JollySipper Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 It seems the more I just try to 'learn my lesson and be a blessing' ( my life motto ) the more easily things tend to work out in my favor......
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) To be or not to be, dooby dooby dooby...that is the question and in some cases, the answer. Edited June 23, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy
Calb56 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Answer the deep philosophical questions of life and I'll bet you that you're wrong, but you're more than welcome to ask away.
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 "Away-team prepare to beam up; there's no intelligent life here".
Classicgas Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Here I go again on my own, going down the only road I've ever known.
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) Known values of electrical resistance are signified by the colored bands on resistors. Edited June 23, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy
Classicgas Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Resistors, or is it capacitors make great 1/25-1/24 fuel filters.
Calb56 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Filters are worth using before I open my mouth and just blurt out what I truly feel... 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Feel like saying a lot of unkind but true things, I do...
slusher Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Do also have the same feelings once in a while but what does it accomplish?
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 "Accomplish something" is a phrase I often have to repeat to myself as I'm getting tired towards the end of the workday...or first thing in the morning...or when I just lose focus momentarily...squirrel. 1
Rodent Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Squirrel(s) are the reason that I have mostly avoided planting a garden until this year, but if they damage it ima gonna get my shotgun. 1
Calb56 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Shotgun is one of...oh wait, what was i talking about? 2
Rodent Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) About squirrel(s) which will need both Pepto-Bismal and Band-Aids if they eat my Jalapenos. Edited June 23, 2023 by Rodent 3
NOBLNG Posted June 23, 2023 Author Posted June 23, 2023 Jalapeños are enjoying a popularity boost recently and are being stuffed in just about anything. 1 1
Rodent Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Anything is possible, but as a native Californian, I would be shocked to visit Canada again and see Jalapenos on the menu at Timmy's. 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 (edited) Timmy's mom in Lassie, well, I always kinda had a thing for her when I was a kid. Edited June 24, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO 1
1972coronet Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Kids Are Alright is a fun documentary about The Who
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Who we are tomorrow is not always who we were yesterday.
