Skills these days required to climb the corporate ladder include who you know, who you pay off and who you mess around with in the dark, they have nothing whatsoever to do with real talent.

Minutes pass like hours when you're waiting for the results of a biopsy, but it's a good time to reflect on the fact that nobody gets out of here alive... so make the best of whatcha got.

"2009" in the post above ends another string of words that IS NOT A SENTENCE, and if it's so difficult, apparently, I can only wonder how an elementary school child is expected to be able to grasp the definition of the one word that encompasses the only rule of this game.

Game Play seems to have gone out the window here and the rules followed along behind it, now they are both lying outside smoldering on the ground and will soon become the ashes of yesterday's intelligence which alas is no more to be found.

'Found objects' are often conglomerated into ugly arrangements of what is essentially trash glued to a board, and labeled oh-so-pretentiously as 'art', requiring neither talent nor skill.

Skill saw sound you hear in the background is Andy Warhol coming back to life to obliterate that last sentence.

Sentence after sentence describing my lack of respect for a lot of the garbage that gets hailed as "art" these days, when plugged in to the AI for comment, results in it explaining to me how ignorant I am because I won't ooh and ahh with appreciation for the artistic merit of vomit and used toilet paper on a plate, sealed in clear resin.

"Stinky" doesn't even begin to describe the joys of working with polyester resin on a large layup in a closed building on a hot, humid day when breathing apparatus and 'boiler suits' are just about mandatory for survival, and the AC breaks down but you have a schedule to maintain.

Occasion was marked by a man in a hat, a man you could see that was holding a cat, a cat in whose mouth appeared a grey rat, singing a nonsensical tune in scat.
