Bronzekeg Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 this is my third go around with this kit. at $12.00 I couldn't pass it up at hobby lobby. unsure about color yet but a black interior. c&c are welcome and thanks for looking. 1
1972coronet Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 My vote's for 'GY3' Curious Yellow to go with your proposed 'SRX9' (Leather Bucket Seats, Black) interior. Have you used Fireball Chrysler Rallye Wheels? They look lovely; vastly superior to the kit offerings. 1
Mopar - D Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Should be a interesting build Ken. I built mine about 12 years ago in pink.

mrmike Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Be sure to remove the struts on the driving lights and glue the lights directly to the front bumper! 1

Bronzekeg Posted August 9, 2022 Author Posted August 9, 2022 these are the colors I have. kind of leaning towards either yellow or lime time green. I also have sassy grass not shown. 1
bisc63 Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 There's no bad color choices there! I like your yellow; trust your gut, it's for you not us. 1

Wolf Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 (edited) Hi Ken, I'm currently working on the Revell Hemi 'Cuda convertible. At the price you got the kit for you can't loose. However, depending on what your goal is with this build, this particular kit, the convertible included, is far from accurate. It's surprising as most other Revell/Monogram kits of the same vintage seem to be a lot better. If you're building it out of the box you'll still have a nice model though. Is that the route you're taking? If you do decide to dress it up a little and you're going with the stock Rallye Wheels, 1972 coronet (John Shoe) is right regarding the Fireball Models Rallye Wheels. They are a beautiful substitute for the kit wheels and as they come in a number of separate pieces I found they were easier to paint and build up. I hope you don't mind me posting a couple of photos of the Fireball Models wheels if you're not familiar with them. I'm certainly not trying to highjack your thread. If you feel I'm infringing on your posts please let me know and I'll remove them. Cheers, Wolf Edited August 10, 2022 by Wolf 1 2
Bainford Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 You picked the right colour! Nice looking paint.
