64SS350
Some updates, I have been doing a lot of bodywork to get details a bit sharper and correct, (some rework also....). Roof is mounted, filling in window trim, including rounded section near the rear most pillar, cut in gas filler port. I know the roof looks flat, but I did shape a contour into it.

Mike C.
Coming along nicely Karl! Good to see you are getting back on this one. We had a '71(4-speed, small block) and a '72 (auto, big block) in the family growing up. Both had the van style doors in the rear. Both were 4x4. 64SS350
The more I looked at the roof, I had to change it. I restructured my jig and contoured it a bit more. Here's a good start to the interior tub, looking at the front panel, I may change that now too.
64SS350
Added new detail to front panels plus arm rests. Door handle and window crank next.

64SS350
Changed direction a bit, chose front seats, made the rear two. After looking at these pics, I remembered I wanted/need to make the second row seat a split bench. Nothing a saw or scriber can't fix!! NOBLNG
Yes, nice work on the seats and the interior. Those Blazer kits are a little shy on detail.
Mike C.
Not to be a stickler but I can remember on both of our family 1:1s the middle seat was slightly shorter on the rear curbside door side to allow the very rear passengers to get back there. If you are trying to go really factory correct.
64SS350
Well this is a two door, and as I stated, I planned on splitting the seat. I chose a center split.

FYI, all 1:1 1967-1972 Suburbans had one door on the drivers side and two on the passengers side. The rear was available as a tailgate and liftgate or barn doors. But you certainly can build yours as a custom job.🙂 Edited December 3, 2022 by NOBLNG
64SS350
So I guess mine is a cross between a panel and a suburban...... Actually had two 1:1s in the family myself, but two young or not as interested back then. I thought the options were two or four doors, which I considered also. But I guess the panels only had two front doors. But if you look at the development/prototype photos, they show two or four doors. Thanks for the info. NOBLNG
Nice clean work there Karl! I don’t know what you’re planning for a drivetrain, but you can file a lot of material off the trans tunnel if needed.
64SS350
Thank you, probably going with 4wd chassis.
64SS350
Over due update.... installed rain channels, fabbed rear hatch, lengthened frame, cut seats apart (lines on seat portion where muddled), hood scoop arrived and I customized that to fit, blending of the scoop is next. Started prepping the 3d printed BB,but they supplied a trani that's too small in scale.
