AMKinsey76 Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Hi Guys, Very impressive website and the models you guys are building are unbelievable, I seem out of my depth when it comes to your models. It seems I to stumbled into the wrong site as I was looking for 3d wooden laser models. Do you guys know of any sites that I may get involved in with regards to designing of wooden models? Most of the items are made out of 3mm supawood. It's a bit difficult to get a small scale so I use 1:22. I research as much as I can prior to designing them. My Dakar truck took 6.5 months to design, 4.5 hours to cut out and 4 days to assembly. Here are some what I have designed and built, most of my models are 1 of a kind. Regards Tony 3
bisc63 Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Can't help you with any other modelling sites specifically, but feel free to post here! Under the main headings of "On the workbench" and "Under glass", there is a category of "All the rest" for your works in progress and finished builds, respectively. There, people post a wide variety of subjects, styles, and media that don't fit the "model cars" groove, but are still interesting to some of us. Modelers learn from modelers, regardless of subject and medium. Welcome to the forum!
Street Rod Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Those are some really cool models! I agree with bisc63 above, please post more of your builds!
Modlbldr Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Those are definitely amazing builds! You have some great skills to be able to design and build your own models and have them turn out so well. Great job! Later-
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 Don't know where to get them, but those are way cool! Especially the first truck - great detail.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Nice work. Hope to see more of it.
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Models are models, whatever material they're made from. If you built a scale replica it's welcome here. Post em where they fit. Cars, trucks, aircraft. There's a place here for all of it.
