PatW Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 (edited) Having built a few of these over decades, and having one on the shelf, following my Porsche build series recently. I added a scratchbuilt rollcage and alloy exhaust pipes. I've canted the kit number decals at 45 degrees on the bonnet and engine lid, just to be different. Having had problems previously with fitting the engine lid I added it before the body chassis connection. A couple of previous ones, built leaving out various chassis, axle parts due to difficult builds of this kit. and a rat rod, barn find, daily driver! Edited September 21, 2022 by PatW 2
Kah puts Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 Nice Pcar Pat, I like the one in primer too, it sits nice and low. 1
PatW Posted September 22, 2022 Author Posted September 22, 2022 Thanks guys, I didn't expect interest so quickly, thanks.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted September 23, 2022 Posted September 23, 2022 Very sharp machines. Good on you for fighting these poor quality kits. I drove a few of them over the years since about 1970 and we all deserve a Tamiya etc quality kit!
PatW Posted September 23, 2022 Author Posted September 23, 2022 Thanks Robert yes a Tamiya kit would bring quality!
