Luc Janssens Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 (edited) Well the modeling bug finally bit me again, was fiddling with a couple of Revell 29-30 Ford's, which are more or less ready for paint, but first wanted to test what's left of my painting competence/ incompetence , so pulled this old Monogram kit to oil these rusty skills, it's in primer now, chassis ready for some detail paint, color coat next time I visit my parrents. Oldcarfan27 Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Looks so good like that! Where did you get the bed cover? That's not included in that kit.

Patrick stated that the kit didn’t come with the cover. So, I figured he was talking about the reissue. I don’t have one of those. This kit was last issued by Monogram as a High Roller. Maybe the cover was replaced with the roll bar? 1
Oldcarfan27 Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I have the Krusher monster truck, AFAIR it doesn't have the bed cover. I also have the High Rollers issue too, but I've never checked that one. Not a big deal, I just didn't know any issue came with the cover. Looks real good with one.
Luc Janssens Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 Today, I got to the stage, color coat! 4
Mattilacken Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 That era ford step side, or what they call it, type bed is so much better looking than the Chevy!
