Slotto
I had a set of headphones that took a dump so I looked at the wire and began to have thoughts. it's about 2.5 mm in diameter and about 3' long. So I cut a piece about 3/4" long and pulled out the wire. My first try was to cut a couple small sections of a straight pin and shove them in the ends then mount it to my project. Because it had no structure, the ends got a little screwy and didnt seat right. Then it occurred to me what I had to do I needed to run the pin entirely thru the wire housing. This way i can have any kind of bend that is needed and due to the rigid nature of the straight pin, it will stay where I put it. shown here in place with a couple crimps i picked up in the jewelry making aisle at Wally World. This wire looks like rubber and I have enough for a lifetime of building. Thanks for looking

BDSchindler
I picked this up at Hobby Lobby for 60% off. Essentially, it's 60' of black hollow rubber tube used to string beads for bracelets. It is the perfect size for replicating a Radiator hose... However, cut a section off and insert some form of flexible wire (like beading wire or very thin solder) and you can bend it into any form you need for a convincing radiator hose. With 60', you'll have enough for the rest of your modeling career! Edited November 13, 2022 by BDSchindler
CabDriver
I’ve been using that same stuff too lately - works great!
