Recently, I checked the Motor Trend site again for newer Hot Rod magazine issues, but am no longer finding a link to this magazine. I know that it had become a quarterly publication in 2024, but am not sure as to its status now.

It appears that this has been discontinued - when I went to the Hot Rod online site, I got a "404 error".  It was good while it lasted...

I think what they're talking about, Jeff, is for a time they had every back issue of the magazine right back to the first issue on the site and you could go through then page by page. 

That was taken down a while ago.

Sad to see the archivealaccess removed for this iconic magazine. It took me the better part of a year to pore through them for this thread, and as it turns out, it was time well spent. Just as an FYI, if anyone needs other articles from this time period, let me know as I still have the means to look them up.

I see what you mean now. I went to this link and saw the page, thinking it was still available. But I tried it and can't get beyond current articles. Guess my boxes of old issues still have value.

I’m confused about this older post…I don’t see any full issues of HRM under this thread nor how to access the digitized versions. The posting says…

Yup.

Don't know if it's a temporary site glitch or that access to the archive has been eliminated, but there doesn't seem to be any way to get in as of 11/30/2025.

Only recent articles from HR appear to be available.
