What are your 3 all time, absolute, most favorite songs?

You know, the ones that make you reflexively reach for the volume knob and start banging your head like a dumb teenager when it comes on the radio! :D

These are mine, in order.

Just 3??? It'd be easier, give me a band name ask for 3 favorite songs...

All Along The Watchtower, Jimi Hendrix Experience

Black Dog, Led Zeppelin

Red Right Hand, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Funny how you can pretty well tell how old someone is from their favorite music.

I'd bet all 3 of you guys are in your mid 60s? ?

[and I apologies if I'm wrong]

I’ve got a million songs that I love too, but I’m talking if you were on your deathbed, and only had enough time left for 3 songs, what would they be?

In my case, I’m not really even much of a Hollies or a Dire Straits fan, but I love those two songs!

Haven’t figured how to move a YouTube video to this page, so I’ll just list them.

Last Train…The Sensational Alex Harvey Band

Dead Leaves…The White Stripes

Isis…Bob Dylan

Just go to YouTube, find the video you wish to share, then left click on the address box.

The entire address should turn blue.

Then right click on the address and select “copy”.

In a separate window with the MCM site in it, right click in the post field and select “paste”.

Go to the video on YouTube, hit the share button, then copy link and paste into your message. Screenshot_20221112_211427_YouTube.thumb.jpg.a7da64a5b4303b5a44083eb5d8932182.jpgScreenshot_20221112_211432_YouTube.thumb.jpg.816001a185aae2e790a4495e43794d9b.jpg

Works the same way.

Highlight the search bar, copy the entire address. Paste it here. It should convert to a clickable view.

I know either do i,and i just have my phone, lol

As far as my top three songs that is a tough one, there are so many.1) would have to be Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”2)Number two might be a bit corny, but there’s just something about the lyrics of the song,it would be “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald“And 3rd) would be BOC,”Don’t Fear the Reaper”,which is tied with Dylan’s “ Knocking on Heavens Door”.Sorry had to squeeze that one in too.

All great songs!!!

As long as we're talking about the original Dylan version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door, and not the Guns and Roses cover. ??

Hey thanks Steve, and yea,the Dylan version without a doubt.I mean i do like a bunch of GnR songs, but IMO ,they really kind of ruined the song. However, one of my favorite songs would be Mr.Brownstone.

in no particular order, all three are musicians music as an art. 1. Lorenza Ponce-Imago  2. Ian Gillan Band- Child in Time  3. Rainbow- Eyes of Fire. all can be found on you tube and worth a listen.

I'm 52. I've long had a preference for Psychedelia, Hard Rock (I consider Johnny Thunders' Heartbreakers to be hard and fast traditional Rock), and Experimental.
