The '69 was cool... but now the '68? Awesome!

Are those Satco gold line tires on the '68?

Those are cool! I've seen a bunch of ElCamino knock offs but these are really neat. I like what you did with the wheels. Most of the kit factory rally wheels have a trim ring that is ridiculously too large. Can't wait to see the progress on these. Maybe for the 70 you can use the 442 stripes down the sides and mimic an SX model Cutlass on the OldsCamino.

thank..I was wondering one night,on my bench,how i would make those factory wheels look better...It kind of struck me as i was looking at the factory mags on the same chrome tree..i made one,and it worked out nicely..i just shot them today with Spaz Stix chrome,and i will tell you,i love that stuff..thanks to VW Dave for introducing me to it..

Chuck,The Satco tires are going to the 68...red lines..The 69 will get the polyglas goodyears...Made a lot of progress on both today..My muse has returned in a big way..

Painted the radiator support, and cowl vent area. Upper cowl area will be sheathed in aluminum BMF, possibly. After that, it's off to assemble all the subcomponents!
