Zippi Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 This was a Great little kit I picked up at a Model show. Other than the whitewall tires and plug wires it's pretty much box stock. Paint is Tamiya acrylic X-10 Gun Metal cleared with Tamiya X-22 Clear. I opted for the 340 cu. in. engine. I used the optional rear tail lights out of the AMT 53 Ford Truck kit it as the tail light that came with the kit were just red lights with no frame. All trim is bmf. 1972coronet Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Gorgeous Merc! Stunning example of the classic AMT kit of yore! Good call on using the kit's 413/426 Crossram engine. The car with its lovely charcoal grey metallic finish looks particularly sweet against that (dreary) Midwest autumn background.
TransAmMike Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Very cool and great build there Buddy!! Good job on the photography too and I like that open trunk pic. ??
