TruckerAL Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 #24, My final build for 2022. This "unsnappified" snap kit Revell Peterbilt 359. I tried to change a lot of things on it to make it look less toy like. I'm super pleased with how it came out! Here's the list of mods done to it in no order: Italeri Cummins swap(painted like an N14 red top), AMT International Transtar 4300 steer rims, GMC Astro rear spokes, 3d printed hood ornament, exhaust stacks and whale tail, real rubber mudflaps, AMT 5th wheel, various decals from many kits, new seats and steering wheel, AMT 359 headlights and a.c. unit, reworked the passenger side sleeper to eliminate the door, and some other little odds and ends! Enjoy! Oh and yes, I did even out the driver side drooping antenna after the pictures lol 4
J.B. Customs Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Really like the modifications way to turn it into head turner look’s great (I do like the horns on these kits) 1
leafsprings Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Great transformation! I agree, most late model kits look toy like, looks much more authentic with the changes. 1
Doug 1061 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Looks great. I too like the round headlights better. Square headlights on a round vehicle never looked right to me. 1
Gary Chastain Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Really nice build, sharp looking rig. 1
Dave Van Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 Nice neat work, great colors.....well done 1
