Dave B
This will be my tribute to the Moffat Mustang. As a Ford mad 19 year old this car made an immense impression on me when I first saw it. Chassis 9FO2M148624 was built by Kar Kraft and given to Moffat to race in Australia. It escaped from the US with it's 2" pie cut inner fender wells and is the only Kar Kraft Mustang to retain them. I've had this kit for years but only now feel confident to do the modifications required, particularly the inner guards. This has to be done to achieve the look, it's just so low at the nose compared to other Mustangs. I have started with a Super CJ kit and have cut the guards, removed the battery, replaced the inner fender and replaced part of the radiator cowl. I have also removed the transmission tunnel area in the interior. So far so good. I will build it as raced in 'Series Production' back in the '69/'70 so it shall retain the inner door panels and rear seat. Tks for looking. vamach1
Are you getting the decals from Pattos place?
Dave B
Hi Rex. Yes I am but I also have an old Roo decal set, but with white Boss stripes and also a Fred Cady Trans Am set with black stripes. I'll have plenty of choice 😃 Dave B

Pierre Rivard
Your work on the fender flares looks very smooth. I tried the method once and did not achieve as nice a result. Did you make your own Webbers?
Smilesperhour
Those arches and front wings look great!

Pretty ordinary but it works when looking down, the trumpets are ferrules. Dave B
Dave B
Finished the interior. Scratch built roll cage similar to the Moffat/KarKraft cars, photo etched window winders and home made photo etch door pulls and switch box. Body has had a couple of initial coats of paint. Will be posted "under glass" within a couple of weeks, all going to plan. Tks for looking. Dave B
