Don't know how many times you can call a model beautiful, but this is one beautifully done Impala. Color choice fits it very well and it is overall a very clean build.

very nice!  love that interior!

Thanks Scott, Ricky and Ryan. I enjoyed detailing that interior since it was so well engraved.

Lovely Impala, Tom. Nice clean work. The paint and foiling are both top notch. Very well done.

Thanks Trevor, four years ago when I got back into the hobby I wouldn't even attempt foiling but like with everything else I've learned to be patient.

Love the gold paint, great build!

Thanks Andrew, gold wasn't available from the factory that year but I liked the color on this model.

That's an AWESOME build. I am in the process of starting mine so you are an inspiration. Quick

question for the Silver trim around the tailight lenses how did you do that?

Thanks Jerry, overall building and detailing this one was a pleasure. The molded trim rings around the tail lights were done with chrome pen. I considered foiling them but was perfectly content with the look of the chrome pen. I also used the pen on the tips of the tail lights.

I realized afterwards the emblems that are centered on the trunk and front header panel probably should've been foiled prior to applying the red decals with the blue Chevy bowtie.

Enjoy the build!

Thanks Ken. I've always felt the '65 to '68 Impalas were the best looking of all the generations. Although they have a lot of competition from many other years.
