A fine kit, yes the Monogram, bought ca 2005 and finally finished

Thanks all for the kind words received

Two info items:

- The wheels are stock from the kit
   (a quite nice kit overall with the exception for the snap fit system for the wheels to the axles
   Either very hard (too hard) to press on, or after some very slight sanding of assumed burrs etc, too loose, falling off.
  The tyres could be reversed , with black sides, giving a more "restrained" look

- The green exterior is Humbrol enamel Brunswick Green, no 3
   (actually a classic Ford colour I think)

PS Just learned that Packard were probably the first ones in the car industry to apply steering by wheel, on their 1903 cars.
     A device perhaps on its (slow) way out now ? At least now not always round.
