Rattlecan Dan Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 The other " Rapid Roman " #38 Jerry Cook. Thanks for viewing. 5
Rattlecan Dan Posted March 16, 2023 Author Posted March 16, 2023 Thanks Jim. I like making them as much as any other kit. Probably a little more. They are rather simple and uncomplicated (like myself). But they are wide open to any embellishments, or addons you envision. Thanks for viewing.
TooOld Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Very well done ! I've read about Jerry Cook and Ritchie Evans racing each other all the time , would have been great to see !
Rattlecan Dan Posted March 16, 2023 Author Posted March 16, 2023 Indeed it was Bob! And throw in same night same track: Maynard Troyer, Geoff Bodine, Lou Lazzaro it was some kinda' Racin' Im tellin'Ya'. Sparks and Thunder, Beatn' n' Bangin. Fast? I'm tellin ya'! LOL. Thanks for viewing.
echo Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Nice model, I always liked the modified cars and their individuality, with the new Moebius Modifieds it should be interesting to see how everyone modifies the modifieds. Again nice model with a lot of realistic features.
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 17, 2023 Author Posted July 17, 2023 Thanks Carl. I think that was only the 2nd MPC modified I made. Had a little trouble with the decals. Before I found out about Micro Set, Micro Sol and Dull cote. Thanks for viewing.
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 17, 2023 Author Posted July 17, 2023 Thanks Mike. I think I've done better since then.
VW93 Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Great model I remember seeing him run at Freeport and Islip Speedways in the mid 70's when he and Evans, Bodine & other North East drivers would show up for the extra distance points races.
