Mark, your work on these older NASCAR models and your attention to every detail is amazing to watch. Never been a Lorenzen fan but looking forward to this build coming together.

Thanks, Ricky. I don't know how all that white sanding dust got all over the stuff I just posted. It won't be there when I get finished.

Hey, Mike. Long time, Bud. What you been working on lately? Glad you dropped by. It's like nobody has been posting lately.

Coming along nicely Mark. I love these big old Fords and I still have this 64 in my stash that I want to do. I think I need a bit of a nudge from my brush painter   co-conspirator to get it going. Your work on these old Nascar rides is such an inspiration.

Thanks, Pierre. I'm really looking forward to your journey with the 64. Do you plan on using a different chassis or will you be removing exhausts like I did on this one? Either way I'm sure it wiill be an awesome build. Missed you not being around here lately.  All the boards seem a little unused lately.

Yeah, quiet on the forum lately. I think many like me are taking a bit of a summer break. I just got back from a month long trip in Europe and just getting my toes in the water. Not building yet but thinking about what I want to build in the fall/winter time. Looking at your stuff I just decided to put the big Ford on the build list. Could be my last NASCAR build so for sure I will use the chassis from the 60 Starliner kit I have in the stash.

Month long trip to Europe. that must have been fantastic. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get over there, but it would be fun to trace my roots back in Sweden. Gramps came from there back at the beginning of the 20th century. He settled in Joliet Illinois with grandma. He opened up a butcher shop and small grocery store.  Axel Iver was his name. My only personal news is we finally replaced our 16 year old Chevy equinox Sport with a new car. We looked at Cadillac xt-4, Subaru Outback and Mazda cx-5. after driving and pricing them, Mazda won big over the other 2 in quality versus price. Plus, we had owned 3 Mazda's back in the ninety's, so we probably had a soft spot in our hearts for the Mazda. Its unbelievable how much has changed in 16 years in quality as far as ride , performance and just the overall feel of the vehicles. Good choice using the frame from the 60 on your build.
