It is sad to hear of Donn's death.  It was well known that he had a brain tumour and we were all hoping for the best for him.  He has left a legacy in the model car building world and many of us will be using his advice for years to come.  I certainly try to follow his example of helping others with their builds - it benefits us all.  I was hoping to one day travel to the United States and meet Donn at a show - sadly now it is not going to happen.  My condolences to his family and friends.

I just found out last night after googling his name, wondering why he had not posted anything to youtube in quite some time and found out he recently passed away. Sad indeed. I will miss his videos and his humor and he always wore a Pittsburgh Pirates tee shirt and never a Steelers or Penguins tee shirt. RIP Donn...

Not meaning anything wrong but is it really true?  He had so many followers and friends. This is a big void too his family and the modelers and modeling community… He was our professor and we was his student…

Yes Carl its true, he died on August 30. There is a link in a post above to his obit. And yes, its a huge void in the modeling community.

For those of you who didn't know Donn, he was a nice sincere fellow.  He sang Karaoke, played softball and was the toast of the party the night before NNL East.  I truly will miss hoisting a few beers with him!
