Jim Whalen Posted September 1, 2023 Share Posted September 1, 2023 It is sad to hear of Donn's death. It was well known that he had a brain tumour and we were all hoping for the best for him. He has left a legacy in the model car building world and many of us will be using his advice for years to come. I certainly try to follow his example of helping others with their builds - it benefits us all. I was hoping to one day travel to the United States and meet Donn at a show - sadly now it is not going to happen. My condolences to his family and friends. Sad indeed. I will miss his videos and his humor and he always wore a Pittsburgh Pirates tee shirt and never a Steelers or Penguins tee shirt. RIP Donn... He sang Karaoke, played softball and was the toast of the party the night before NNL East.
