Sweet! A shiny red super stock Dodge! I’d love to see that little old lady from the famous song terrorize Colorado Blvd. (or Grand Ave in Chicago) in this beast.

While I applaud their decal subjects and efforts, I’m not a big fan of SMP decal graphic quality (I believe they use course raster graphics vs crisp sharp vector graphics like Slixx) but I must say these decals look great on this old Lindberg kit (which I keep building too!). I have a set of Grand Spaulding decals for a ‘65 AWB A/FX Dodge (the lavender and blue one from Fremont Racing) that I’m looking forward to using on the upcoming Moebius kit when it’s released.
Another beautiful classic SS’er Mike! Keep ‘em coming!

I fully agree with you the smp quality has a lot to be desired I find them very fragile. I also have to watch with a waxed finish as I’ve had them curl up and fall off. Boy is that fun to go back and fix. Thanks for the nice words.

Great build. Lots of memories

I grew up in the Grand and Spaulding neighborhood. Every Saturday a couple of us would ride our bikes to Mr. Norms.

Thanks

My dad helped me build a custom 26in Raleigh custom. The frame was Metal Flake Blue, a welded extension fork, a 16in ? front wheel and tire, a fat whitewall rear tire, a Blue Metal Flake banana seat, a sissy bar, Angel Wing handle bar, and a 52 teeth front sprocket. Definatly a 1 of 1.

Mike

PM me if you want to read my Mr.Norm's stories.
