I would really like to express my appreciation for this magazine. With the demise of the other publication, it's great to see our hobby is still represented in print form. I'm only one man, but I will definitely do my part to keep it going. If it came out monthly, that would be awesome (but I'm quite happy as it is). Hopefully some day, one of my builds (contest coverage?) will make it in the pages of this wonderful magazine.

I have agree with Jeff.  While MCM has always been great, since the revamp of the magazine...it has become SO much better!  Yes it would be nice to have it monthly but as one that has written for magazines in the past, it becomes a lot of pressure to hit deadlines with content that will keep readers coming back time and time again.

Then there is the cost factor...a monthly publication effectively doubles the budget and that adds to the overall stress of getting the magazine done within the deadline.  And trust me, if you miss a deadline by even a week, not only will readers be disappointed but you will NEVER get the next issue out on time and the classic snowball effect starts to happen.

"Nuff said on that.

As it stands right now, the content is great, the timing is on the mark, pictures are excellent and so on.  The only thing I would like to see are more of the "How to" articles and new accessories/tools available.

An old Writing professor from college once told me the best way to write a short story (and for those offended by politically incorrect analogies, stop reading now) is to envision a woman's hemline...the story (or article in this case) should be long enough to cover the subject but short enough to make it interesting.  I'd say you guys hit the mark perfectly!

I want more reviews. I really enjoy reading about model kits I don't plan on buying but more important are the kits I will buy because of the review. These reviews have saved me money and disappointment to NOT buy a kit but have swayed me into buying others.

I can definitely understand the cost and deadline issue (see what I did there,Lol). My wife is a Communications Professional, and has to publish a magazine (twice a year). This is quite stressful enough, let alone having to do this monthly or even bi-monthly.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programing...

Lol. "Stuck" in Ohio? I left. Miss living on the lake, but don't miss the winters.

Heh-heh... I came back...lived in Colorado then Arizona over 20 years, moved back to NE Ohio 6 years ago...just bought my 2nd house here,  a few miles from Lake Erie.. love the North Coast in the Spring/Summer/Fall and tolerate the winters..

Thanks to the entire team for getting MCM back on track.

Personally I think the mix of content is just right. To add more of any category would mean something else has to get less coverage.

A better way would be to have more content on Patreon with a small subscription fee.  Although it wouldn't be printed on paper it would be an easier solution to adding more pages and increasing the cost.u
