atomicholiday Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Really nice! I have a few of these in the stash. Always been a little intimidated to start one.
Lucius Molchany Posted May 3, 2023 Author Posted May 3, 2023 Hardest part is getting a good paint job, plus you have to do a bit of filing to clean up the flash that can occur.
ewetwo Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Looks really sharp in that color. Makes me think about building mine.
TooOld Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Well there's one we don't see very much of , well done Phillip ! I hear these kits are a real bear to build . . . looks like you did just fine .
Lucius Molchany Posted May 4, 2023 Author Posted May 4, 2023 Was not bad ,other Hubleys I have built require some file work to clean up flash and mold marks
Sam I Am Posted May 9, 2023 Posted May 9, 2023 (edited) Nice collection, and a beautiful build I have all the Model A kits that my dad and I built when I was a kid. We also built the 32 Chevies, and Packards. I also have one of the Duesenburgs. Just bought a couple of the model T kits As well. I just stripped a Model A Victoria and am going to see if I can smooth out the two piece body. Message me and we can discuss Hubleys. I think I can come up with a few pics as well.
