Wanted a slump buster, something I could crack out quickly. Figured this would be an excellent kit to choose.

Super easy to build, the fit is great, and it looks great when done.

As usual, I see room for improvement, but I'm reasonably happy with how this one turned out.

I did a little weathering on it, as I wanted something that looked a little used and driven, a little dirty but not too grubby.

Paint is Tamiya's TS-23 Light Blue, which is fairly somewhere between Porsche's Riviera Blue and Maritime Blue...my two fav Porsche colours.

I resisted the urge to add aftermarket details to this one, so stuck with the seatbelt decals instead of making some.

Like the "Track Day" theme and the light usage. Lots of tire here. This exhaust and engine bottom weathering looks great as does the worn paint on the interior floor.

This one is a looker. Great color choice and I like the truck too.

Some may recognize the truck from MCM Issue 217!
