The Amalgam models one has to remember are sold as fully built models, and probably when you consider their price more highly detailed than the Agora kits aimed at a different market altogether.

Started the interior. Really cool carpet. The seats are a rubber type of material.

Your Gullwing really coming on well Bruce. Was it originally an Eagle Moss kit?

Agora had a display/sales stand at IPMS UK Scale Modelworld Show at Telford UK in November.

Got to look at a range of their models for real. The Bond DB5 was the centrepiece, but I really liked the AC Cobra that they had on display. Very impressive in 1/8th scale.

Sorry for the very slow reply, but yes it is a eaglemoss kit. If you are in the middle of a build and eaglemoss did not provide you parts, agora will help with your build. The cobra 427 is a very good build. The only thing in the cobra is that you have to modify the side exhaust. I modified mine to be parallel to the body. Here is a pic of my agora cobra.

I painted the Mercedes Gullwing. Painted her in my shed in the background. Took her out for a few pics and pollen had fallen all over her. Not to worry , the paint is dry. So far she’s comming out great.

Hello Noel, I do not buy these expensive kits. My friend Mark is part of Agora (Liam’s team here in the USA. )I build them, review them and sometimes get to go all out on them. Mark lets me know what I can do. But I get to keep them. I just did the Lamborghini Miura and had to build it out of the box. (This kit is a difficult build. ). The Gullwing, I get to change the color. Black was suggested so black it goes. If you need to know if they are a good kit, I can help or Bill( Mr Obsessive) is very knowledgeable on these kits.

Dang. We all need friends like that. Stay lucky.

Bruce.      The re spray of yours looks really good (and also appeared to be necessary).

Looking at an earlier post of yours, as supplied the pre painted  silver of the doors, hood and trunk looks way off and too light compared with the main body colour. I would have expected tighter quality control of the paint match of the parts considering the cost of these model kits.
