1962 Chevy Impala

This is the Revell Special Edition kit. Painted Dupli-Color Bright Platinum Metallic and Bright Red. The Impala decal on the rear side is missing since it wouldn't register on this color paint. Plug wires and heater hoses added in the interior. Wheels are from the Ford Thunderbolt kit and tires are from Fireball Modelworks with painted red lines.  The red side stripe was brush painted and trimmed with BMF. BMF inside and out. Beautiful looking color and finish. I remember you expressed concern about the chrome foil not showing against the silver paint, but I think it looks great. Dulling the finish on the trunk looks more like stock since they were sort of a flat silver/gray color. The red interior and side moldings really standout.

Gorgeous build. The red external trim and interior are outstanding with the Bright Platinum exterior, excellent engine compartment detailing. Very well done.
