raisin27 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Finally got the 'Liner done......... This ones for you Dad, Raisin
Harry P. Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Wow! Very nice! And even the lettering on the heater hoses! Incredible attention to detail throughout. Are the gold "Starliner" scripts PE? That's about as good as Factory Stock gets...
Bernard Kron Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 (edited) I always look forward to your builds. You really have a feel for these factory stockers. It's not just that they are so clean and well detailed, your sense of color and scale makes them just pop! Case in point: Edited March 1, 2009 by gbk1
Peter Lombardo Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Very nice looking factory stock. Black paint looks perfect, especially considering how difficult black is to get right.
Tom Kren Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Wow nice and clean just the way I like them Great job!
george 53 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 You guys should see this Bad Boy up close! Mike actually let me pick it up an scope it! Pictures don't really do this car justice, it's even MORE impressive when you see it live! Mike's a REAL talented builder, an he hasn't been at it 1/2 as long as some of us!!!GREAT BUILD Mike, I'm REALLY glad you posted it! Show the 62 Catalina, so they can see what we were talkin about detailing. His Cat's a REAL nice ride too, only not as detailed,BUT JUST as nice!!!
Raul_Perez Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Another excellent build, Michael!! I agree with Bernard...I too always look forward to seeing what you come up with next!! Later,
James Flowers Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I agree with everyone else that is one beautiful build. Nice detail under the hood.
carrucha Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Nice work raisin. Good job detailing the engine. carrucha
Helipilot16 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Very nice build of one of the best looking American cars ever. You have inspired me to buy a couple of these and try my hand.
crazyjim Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I started my '60 Ford this morning - shaved the insignias off and sanded the chrome trim off. I want to roll the front & rear pans but not sure how to do it. I was thinking of stripping the chrome off the bumpers, glue them on and then start sanding them down. Anybody got any ideas on rolling the pans on this car?
raisin27 Posted March 3, 2009 Author Posted March 3, 2009 Thanks to everyone for the comments. If anyone knows where I can find a nice 1/1 example..............Oh and yes Harry the gold scripts are photo etch. Thanks again, Raisin
