1970 Pontiac Firebird in Lucerne blue (1/24 Monogram/Revell)

Concerning the two reservoirs, checked on the net.

Seems the "washer bottle" could be installed in either position, left or right.

= Revell have in the kit implemented both. Would certainly result in considerable milage before they would have been empty,  probably lasted half a winter.

Incredible work.  The trim, paint and finish, wheels… wow!

Thank you! The wheels from Fireball really helped

Oooohhh, that’s pretty! Beautifully done. Well photographed as well. That’s the way you do it……

Cheers,
Wolf (had a friend in high school that had a ‘69 Firebird convertible in that same colour. I envied him until he trashed the car.)

Thank you! I used to prefer the look of 1st gen but 2nd gen definitely has grown on me.

That's what a lot of sanding would do - thank you!

Only thing missing is the manual gearbox.

Good catch!

Super looking build.  Blue is my favorite color so I'm really liking this one.  Very nicely done.

I love the blue too - thanks!

That looks 100% like it's full sized counterpart in a number of your photos. You've done an exceptional job with this build.

Thank you!

Beautiful looking paint finish and the trim all looks very cleanly done.

Thanks a lot! I masked + airbrushed all the trims even though the texture wouldn't look as great as BMF.

Absolutely gorgeous build in every way. All the details and the effort you put into this kit has made it museum quality for sure. Some of your photos make it look like a real car. Stunning paint work. I'm in admiration of your skill.

Thank you! I always chip away tiny bits at a time which help me to not make any big mistakes.

Agree with all the comments above:

Superb

Question : in the engine bay there are two rerservoirs (light coloured)

One on the left side near the battery

One in the front right corner

One of them is the for the windshield wash system (assume the one to right)

If so, what is the other one ?

Reason for question: am now building the same kit , but white (And on a different level)

I thought the one nearby the radiator is the coolant overflow reservoir!

Interesting location for washer bottle - I thought it was coolant overflow tank!

Absolutely perfect paint work and really has a 1:1 look in the outdoor photos. Rally wheels (which I've found tricky to detail accurately) add to the realism. I've never given much thought to painting tires but I do see the difference you have created versus what's offered in the box.
