R. Thorne
A model I built of a friend’s current Stock Eliminator car. It’s not perfect, but I had fun and some challenging experiences, plus some new tools to try out. More details of the build and numerous pictures of the progress in the WIP thread with the same title. Cheers. Edited October 12, 2023 by R. Ian McLaren
I watched the project from the beginning, This is a very deceptive model just like the real car, it looks stockish but there is a ton of quality work done to get it here. Nice representation of the real car, the owner should be pleased and honered. Edited October 13, 2023 by Ian McLaren

My OCD inclination is not completely satisfied with the results, but are we ever? Still, I learned some things and had some fun. One of my next projects and, possibly, the prettiest Stocker out there.

Ulf
Very good results, building a replica of a real car is much more difficult than being able to compromise.

R. Thorne
Oh, almost forgot, used a strip of 1/16” wide double sided scotch tape fastened to the inner fender to hold the hood in place during delivery to Mike.
