Looks like it is going to be a killer Gasser. What engine do yo have planned for it? Did you have to shorten the floor pan to make it fit under the '62 body?

I like where you're going with this. 

The '57 gasser body is horrible, for all purposes unbuildable. 

The '62 body is much better except for the headlight area. I've considered trying to bash the front end of the MPC '60 with the rest of the AMT '62, but lack the ambition to actually DO it.

So far, I used spare floor panels to cover up to where the firewall starts and put some styrene spacers to raise the firewall a bit. I also removed the part after the rear crossmember to fit the 62 body. Wheelbase is a bit off on the rear so I opened the wheel weld a bit also. Thanks

Slow but steady… roll bar fits, suspension is almost done… will try to get the body painted this weekend also made the headers from scratch today

Really like the way this is coming together. Here are a couple of pictures for encouragement. I realize it is not a '62, but it is still a C1 Vette
