ModelcarJR Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 This is a revised tool from Revell. I have painted it Tamiya Italian Red with a black interior. Built box stock except for the wire wheels that I had in the spare parts box from the Revell 32 Ford Sedan. Although they are big and littles the diameters are not that different but the wider rear wheels had to be cut and sanded down a bit. The wheel backs fit the axle hubs nicely and the wheels cling to the spongy kit tires pretty well with some white glue. Some of the small parts like the wipers and mirrors are a bit fiddly and need some adjustment. One mirror needed some mirror foil. The hood also needs a prop to stay up. Thanks for looking! ? 1
TarheelRick Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Beautiful Jaguar. I don't know why, but every time I see a Jag I hear Jan & Dean's "Deadman's Curve" running through my head.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Great ? So much trim to deal with. Great red. Oh yeah, Dead Man Curve car from the Jan and Dean song. 1
Yeah Nah Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Neat looking Jag! To me Jaguar is one of the best British/European marques.
XYHARRY Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Nice e type in red. Well done John. Cheers, David. ??
oldcarfan Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 That looks great! I've thought about this kit, but wondered how hard it is to build.
