jjsipes Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 While digging through my stash, I found this one that was painted, bare-metaled and decaled 11 years ago and never got around to finishing. Moebius 1952 Marshall Teague Hudson Stock Car kit. Box stock. Painted with Testors Bright Platinum Metallic spray can and cleared. Had to redo some of the Bare-metal trim after storage. Had to touch uo some of the decals that didn't quite lay down on the body side trim and it flaked off. Cut the rear wheel skirts out. Another one that's not perfect but glad to have another completed. 3
MarkJ Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Jason, way to resurrect a build to completion. Really like the metallic glints in the paint. Also, the saving of the decals and the foil to just like new status is a job very well done. Another excellent build from your bench and I'm sure you gained much satisfaction in finally completing it. 1
bbowser Posted February 6, 2024 Posted February 6, 2024 Nice job! Those Hudson kits make great stock cars.
ewetwo Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Beautiful Love the Hudsons. Rattlecan Dan Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Very nice build. You show how they were actually sharp-looking cars.
