I haven't built it yet. I have all of the stuff for it like decals. The top one is the prototype of the model. The bottom is the one I want to build.

WIP if you're building it, under glass if it's finished.

I didn't know what to post under for questions

But this one is definitely on my to-do

I'll make it official. This section is a catch-all as many of us do not live by model cars alone. Trains, both finished and in-progress, are fine. Looking forward to seeing your builds. I'm a bit of a McCloud River Railroad fan myself.

And another one: Marx O gauge switcher engine made into a Y&S engine. Youngstown and Southern use to be one of the richest railroad in the country as they pulled the first loads out of the steel mills in Youngstown. The rail ran in my neighbor hood they made a lot of flatten pennies.

Nice looking trains here friends!

I grew up next to a train with at least 30 tracks near Uof L. Really would like to find some model trains.

Those are some cool builds and pics.

Ah, model logging railroads, my real passion. Here's my Roundhouse 2 truck shay I built.

Me to! Those are some absolutely beautiful models. The roundhouse shays are cool, apparently they have less problems than the bachmann (if you put them together though ?).

Thanks. The Bachmann shays are beautiful models, until the gears crack. When they first came out, they were a huge step up for affordable shay models over expensive brass or building your own with a Roundhouse kit. The Roundhouse kits are nice, just require very careful building and need lots of attention to the drivetrain to make them run smoothly and reliably, but it can be done.
