Chuck Most Posted February 20 Share Posted February 20 I know I've had a couple of these kits over the years but I think this is the first one I've actually built. Not the greatest kit but still a fun project, which I suppose is the whole point. The hood fits about as well as it's going to in the photos. It just refuses to sit flush on the passenger side. For some reason the exhaust tips are molded with the roll pan. I cut them off and hit them with some Revell chrome in a can. After misplacing the factory airbox I replaced it with an Iceman conical filter. Neither of the included wheel and tire options suited me, so I modified some Testors Eddie Van Halen wheels to fit the Revell brake rotors. With the lowered suspension, the gas tank is dangerously close to the ground, if I built another one I would address that.
