Revell Shelby Cobra in Testors Fiery Orange

I just finished this today and wanted to take some outdoor pics while the sun was low in the sky. I may take some tomorrow when then sun is higher in the sky. 

I really wanted to put the white stripe decals on it. I tried putting the one on the hood (around the scoop) first, but it ripped as I was smoothing it out. And I had some trouble with the windshield and got a little glue in the top corners. Comments welcome!

Good looking color on a Cobra. Have not seen that color before. Tonneau cover is great. Maybe it comes in the kit?

Nice clean build! I think that the stripes with this particular colour wouldn't have added to the overall look and that it looks great without them. Looks very California and suits the box art ?

I love that color, and think it looks great on the Cobra! My club chose that kit for our annual Christmas Build-off. Does it offer different stripe color options, or just white? Yours would look amazing with some black stripes!

Thanks Robert! I wanted to paint it something other than blue, red, silver or white and I thought this color would stand out. The tonneou did come with the kit.

Thanks nc buckeye! The kit comes with white and dark blue stripes.

I used that same paint recently on a Trick Trike build, and it came out great. Isn't it awesome how nicely it pops in sunlight? I love it. BTW; I also like the tonneau cover, does it come with the kit?

Thank you everyone! I went back and saw your Trick Trike....awesome!  That color does pop in the sun for sure. That tonneou cover did come with the kit. My brother saw pics of the model with the cover on it and he thought that I made it out of some actual fabric! I must say it does have the right fabric "texture" molded in.

I really like your Shelby. Your color choice is is not what one would expect on this car but it's top notch and the way it looks in slightly different lighting really makes this build shine.
