Mike C Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 It's a resin kit. Frankly I like the 1/43rd resin kits better. In 1/24 I would rather do plastic kit. Here's a phot of the 1/1 car and then the model. 9
bbowser Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Really nice! I would love to see this shot in styrene.
Dave B Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 That's a very nice build Mike, tks for sharing. I don't see very many Profil 24 builds up on the forum. Dave B
Bugatti Fan Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Resin has its own set of challenges where it differs from styrene. This thread shows a very nice model build from that Profil 24 Aston kit I must say.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 So many tiny details. Great colors. Congratulations.
Funkychiken Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Wow, looks fantastic. I have a soft spot for Astons, I love your build
Rich Chernosky Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Hard to believe that is 1/43. What a nice model.

cifenet Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 Amazing details and very good looking car! I think one of the winglets on the rear spoiler is slightly misaligned, but I am sure it would be an easy fix. Other than that, I really dig this Martin! Superb work!

Yeah, you're right about the misaligned winglets (actually end plates). The wing has a little warp to it. When I was building the kit I accidently broke the wing into 3 equal parts. I had to glue them putty and sand it to get it to look right. The endplates have a recess in them for the wing tip to fit into. That's why its misaligned. 1
