Thanks, Jim! I appreciate your comment!

Finished the engine this morning. I added a MAD pre-wired distributor with Pro Tech wire looms and plug boots. I also added a fuel line with a filter, a support for the air conditioner compressor and an alternator bracket. And now I am going to add the fan that I forgot to attach. Oops! Thanks for looking! ?

Thanks, Bob, David, Jeremy and Carl! I appreciate your comments!

Finished the interior and the decals fit well although its hard to see the speedo under the plastic glass. Seems to be just the right mix of black, white, and chrome, IMO. A nicely designed interior. Thanks for looking! ?

Impressive paint job, foiling work, and interior detailing. And that's a slick engine too. Glad that issue with the paint didn't slow you down much - this model is turning out great!

Thanks, Glen, Noah, Jim and David! I appreciate your comments!

Well, I have had a couple of bad building days. Or more specifically, I spent yesterday correcting the problems I created for myself the day before. Two days ago, I finished the chassis, installed the engine and installed all the window glass. Yesterday, I had just glued in the interior, let the glue dry with clamps on the cowl and was ready to mount the body onto the chassis when the left wing window fell out. I couldn't re-install it with a long toothpick and some Handi-tak because the steering wheel was in the way. So I had to take the interior out and breaking the firewall glue joint. So after the wing window was glued in with some Elmer's Glue this time, and the interior was rebuilt and re-installed, I mounted the body onto the chassis.

The rear wheels didn't look right and I then noticed that axle was a bit crooked so I had to take it apart on one side and reassemble. i then put the chassis oyn the desktop and one wheel was not touching. The front suspension uneven so I had to take it out as well (its a one piece assembly that mounts separately) taking the engine mounts with it and leaving the engine suspended by the exhaust pipes, radiator hoses and transmission glue joint. I reinstalled the assembly getting it in level this time and now it sits fine on four wheels. So now I am at the final stages, its on four wheels and all I have to do are the bumpers, grill, air conditioning plumbing in the engine compartment, and decals if I can find the right ones to replace the 409 decals in the kit.

In my earlier days, I may have given up and put it back in the box and moved on but I persevered and got it back together! Thanks for looking! ?

Dang John! That sounds like a nearly complete overhaul!

I'm glad that you stuck with it. The end product is well worth the effort you put into it.

Thanks, Carl and David! I appreciate your comments! Yes, it was two of those days!

Its finished! I didn't use the Foose decals since they were red and wouldn't go with the green so I used a black pin stripe on the belt line and did a heavy blackwash on the spokes of the Foose wheels. I didn't "Foose it" I "ModelcarJR'd it! LOL!   More photos in the "Under Glass" section. Thanks for looking! ?
