Notorious for the covering peeling off the plate in a very short period of time. I work for a company based out of Ontario. One of our corporate guys has plates that are basically featureless gray rectangles now. I'm guessing driving with the plates in that condition is just obscenely illegal, right?

Lots of those plates here in N.B. too. They're still legal , valid plates. ,,just all the paint has pealed off. I understand the province will replace them free of charge but I don't know anyone who's actually bothered getting new ones.

Ontario had a free exchange program for plates that were 5 years old or newer. I think it's a minimal charge to get new ones. I changed my last set of plates for my current ones at 4.5 years, and the replacements still look great after 6 years on the car. 8 hours ago, Chuck Most said: I work for a company based out of Ontario. Illegal, but many people keep riding on them. Then one day, that person will come across a constable with a ticket quota, and then...
Fabrux Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 The worst are the ones that have completely peeled away but, rather than replacing them, the owner has painted the letters/numbers... ?♂️ I had to replace the plate on my work truck after it was on there for 18 months or so as it started peeling; a NS apportioned plate. 1
37 caddy Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Most people leave the peeled off ones on their car so the red light cameras cant get them, and if they do get stopped just play dumb.?
Radretireddad Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Question for Erik Solie. Will it be possible to purchase those chrome trees with the newly corrected hubcaps for the current kits in my collection? Thanks again for your terrific customer service.

Depends on how many we get in the spares box from production. Container is being unloaded at warehouse today, so should know soon. We've actually replaced the old ones with the new ones in the tooling, so future production of all the Fords that use this sprue will now have the corrected hubcaps. Erik Solie
Radretireddad Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 That’s great to know but since I’ve already purchased at least one of every kit in the series, I’d like to know if I could just get three sets of the corrected center caps for the kits I already have. If I may, I was also wondering if Moebius has any plans to reissue the Model King 1966 F-100 short wheelbase fleet side kit in the near future. The prices for them are getting pretty steep on eBay. Many thanks. Brian
horsepower Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Looks nice, but I was hoping for a '53-'54 version just my preference.

Be nice to see an exclusive Mercury truck photoetch fret, with representatives of each generation This '68' will be another great one in their bump series for the mass market facebook assembler crowd but the adult market... is still looking. Jim B Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 I just finished watching HPIGuy's review of the Moebius M-100, and it looks like a decent kit. I've never built any of the Mobius Ford F-100 kits, and I have a question: where's the fuel tank? ?
GLMFAA1 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 The fuel tank is behind the seat in the cab which is molded into the interior tub. Went to frame in '73 except stake and crew cabs greg 1

Radretireddad Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 (edited) I’ve found some of the flaws like the rear ride height and front track width on these kits are pretty easy to correct. If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to share how I did it. It’d sure be nice to get a couple of sets of those nice new 1/2 ton correct center caps. Edited July 29, 2024 by Radretireddad 1
Ron Hamilton Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I watched HPI Guy's build and review of this kit over the weekend, and while I don't agree with a lot of his color choices and paints used on the builds, they do make me want to purchase the kit. I have most of Mobieus' Ford Truck kits, and I have only built one, the 1969 in the photo shown, but I look forward to building more of them in the future. 2 1
1972coronet Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 It would appear that the warped bonnet hath been corrected for this issue... I need another F-100 / F-250 / F-350 like I need another hole in my brain, but I'm going to pull the trigger with this one ! BTW, was the 100 available with the FE engine in 1:1 ? I know that the 250 and 350 had the FE (in addition to other engines), but I don't believe that I've ever seen the "lowly" 1/2 ton with a factory-installed FE, 360 or 390.
Rob Hall Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 This 1:1 resembles the box art, even has the blue hubcaps. 3
